    • What is a Google Apps Account?

Google Apps is a set of cloud applications by Google. Included with a Google Apps account is document sharing with Google Docs, cloud file storage and sharing with Google Drive and lots of other cloud apps. However, the most important application is Gmail like email hosting for your custom domain name.

Google Apps for custom domains used to be free but that is no longer the case. However if you buy a grandfathered free Google Apps account, such as the ones I’m selling, you can still enjoy free Google Apps for custom domains.

    • Why use Google for email hosting?

Google has the best spam protection in the world and the Gmail web interface is the easiest and most feature rich among all the webmail providers. Gmail is also integrated with other Google services like Google Talk, Google Wallet etc.

    • What are user licenses?

Free Google Apps accounts come with a quota of licenses. Every separate user account, i.e. an account with its own username and password, uses up one license. An account maybe used for various different apps but it only uses up one license.

Email aliases don’t count towards the license limit.

  • Saving Money

    • How do I save money by buying a Google Apps account from you?

A commercial Google Apps for Work account costs $5 per month per license or $50 per license if you pay annually. A 100 licenses would cost you $5,000 per year!

Buying an account with free licenses can save you a lot of money. You only pay the one time fee to purchase the account from me. There are no license fees!

    • Are there any recurring fees for the Google Apps licenses?

No, these are grandfathered free Google Apps accounts so there are no license fees.

  • Adding domains

    • Can you add my domain to the account?

Yes I can add one secondary domain to the account for free at the time of account purchase. I can’t change the primary domain. If you want to change the primary domain you can get it done from freelancers at fiverr.com for a nominal fee (~Eur 10 last I checked).

Note that you can create separate email accounts at secondary domain.

    • Can you change the primary domain?

I can add one secondary domain to the gsuite account for free at the time of account purchase. I cannot change the primary domain. However, there are 3rd party freelancers on fiverr.com who know how to change the primary domain and they can do it for a nominal fee (~Eur 10 last I checked).

    • What is the primary domain?

Google Apps accounts are linked to the primary domain. The primary domain name shows up in various login URLs. Google also derives the organization’s name from the primary domain (although you can customize this). When users are logged in they will see “Managed by primarydomain.com” written in the menu underneath their avatar.

You can create separate email accounts at the primary domain.

    • What is a secondary domain?

A Google Apps account is associated with the primary domain name and secondary domain names are additional domain names that are added to an account. Unlike domain aliases you can create separate email accounts at secondary domains.

Secondary domains have some limitations that the primary domain does not.

    • What do you mean by a separate email account?

I mean an account with its own username and password, disk space quota etc. That is a full fledged email account and not just an alias to another account.

    • What is a domain alias?

When you add a custom domain name as an alias all email addresses at the primary domain are also reachable via the aliased domain. So if you have an account abc@primary.com and you add alias.com as a domain alias emails sent to abc@alias.com will arrive in the inbox of abc@primary.com. You can’t create separate email accounts at alias.com.

    • Can I send emails from an aliased domain name?

Yes, this is possible. Please see this guide here. Click on “I’m a Google Apps for Work user sending from a domain alias or email alias.”

Note that the domains being sold on this site come with free Google Apps accounts not the commercial Google Apps for work accounts. However, the instructions for sending emails via aliased domains are the same.

    • Where can I buy bitcoins?

This depends on where you live.

If you are in the US then you can buy bitcoins from Coinbase or Kraken. If you are in Europe then there is likely an exchange in your own country which you can find through a websearch. For example in Germany there is bitcoin.de and in the UK there is CoinFloor. Coinbase also works in some European countries and there is also a major worldwide exchange in Europe called Bitstamp which supports funding via SEPA transfers.

In India there are ZebPay and Unocoin.

An option for people around the world is the Over The Counter (OTC) exchange Local Bitcoins. OTC means you are dealing directly with individual bitcoin buyers and sellers.

If non of these options pans out then please contact me and I’ll see if I can find a service that sells bitcoin in your country.

Once you’ve acquired bitcoins please go through the ordering process on this site. When you checkout you will be given a bitcoin address where you have to send payment and the amount in bitcoin will also be displayed there. Please send payment to the address given on that page.
